National Assembly delegates meet voters at resettlement area of Thanh Chuong district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 18, National Assembly deputies: Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee and Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province had a meeting with voters and attended the National Great Unity Day in Tan Lam village, Ngoc Lam commune (Thanh Chuong).
Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of Thanh Chuong district and Ngoc Lam commune.

Tan Lam village, Ngoc Lam commune migrated from Ban Ve Hydroelectric ReservoirResettlement areain Thanh Chuong district in 2006; merged from 3 villages: Kim Lien, Xop Pe and the old Cha Luan village. Currently, the village has 192 households (892 people), with 3 ethnic groups (Thai, Kinh, Kho Mu) living together. The poverty rate is still high with 80/192 poor households, accounting for 42%; near-poor households have 76 households, accounting for 39.5%.
Life is still difficult and hard, but people haveunite, promote internal strength, compete to develop the economy, help each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. Thanks to good propaganda work on economic development, people's lives have gradually improved, many households have renovated and built spacious houses, and purchased all necessary items. The average income is currently over 20 million VND/person/year.

At the meeting with voters, National Assembly delegate Nguyen Van Chi reported to voters the results of the 4th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, after 21 working days (from October 20 to November 15, 2022), the National Assembly passed 6 Laws and 3 Resolutions; gave opinions on the acceptance, revision and adjustment of the time for submitting to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended); gave initial opinions on 7 draft laws.

At the same time, consider and approve the Resolution of the 4th Session,National AssemblyThe XV session had many important contents such as approving the increase in basic salary for cadres, civil servants and public employees; applying the statute of limitations for disciplinary actions against violations of cadres, civil servants and public employees; implementing cadre work under its authority. The National Assembly also questioned 3 Ministers and the Government Inspector General on the fields of: Construction, Information and Communications, Home Affairs, Inspection, etc.

At this session, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province participated seriously with a high sense of responsibility with 9 delegates speaking in the hall, 57 delegates speaking in groups to discuss the submission, draft law, draft resolution, report on socio-economic issues; security - defense; State budget and important issues under the authority of the National Assembly.
At the meeting with voters, Ms. Nguyen Van Chi requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Chuong district to synthesize voters' opinions to forward to National Assembly deputies, and the deputies to forward opinions to competent authorities for research and resolution.

On behalf of the delegation, National Assembly delegate Nguyen Van Chi presented gifts to Tan Lam residential area, presented 60 million VND from Nghe An Province's Fund for the Poor to support Mr. Luong Van Khay's family to build a Great Solidarity house, and together with National Assembly delegate Thai Thi An Chung presented 20 gifts to households facing especially difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Thanh Chuong district leaders also presented gifts to residential areas and 15 gifts to poor households./.
