National Assembly delegates meet voters and attend Great Unity Day in Anh Son district

Tan Hop village in the mountainous commune of Binh Son has 256 households, 934 people, of which more than 50% are ethnic minority households, distributed into 4 residential clusters. Over the years, the Party cell, executive committee, and Front working committee of the village have done a good job of propagating and mobilizing people of all walks of life to implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies, and the country's situation to the people, especially the viewpoints, policies, and guidelines on great national unity, the Resolutions, plans, and targets of the locality.

In 2022, the village maintained the title of cultural unit, with 85% of families achieving cultural family status, including 4 exemplary families. During the year, there were no social evils in the village, the activities of self-management groups were maintained, and any internal conflicts that occurred were promptly reconciled and resolved by self-management groups and the Village Front Working Committee.

However, the poverty rate of the village is still high compared to the whole commune (nearly 8.5%); the intra-village traffic system and cultural institutions still have many difficulties.

Sharing the joy of the Great Solidarity Festival with the people of Tan Hop village, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee of the National Assembly, a delegate of the 15th National Assembly expressed his sympathy for the difficulties of the village, and at the same time hoped that the people would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, make efforts with the local Party Committee and government to overcome difficulties, and successfully achieve socio-economic goals in the coming time.

Joining the Great National Unity Festival in Tan Hop village, Major General Tran Duc Thuan and representatives of Anh Son district leaders presented many meaningful gifts to Tan Hop village residents and poor households in the village; and attended the groundbreaking ceremony to build a Great Unity house for a family in particularly difficult circumstances.
