Weddings and funerals in Vinh City are still not allowed to gather more than 20 people.

On the morning of September 24, the streets in Vinh City were crowded again when the city began implementing Directive 19. Restaurants, cafes and eateries began to be crowded. Vinh City residents began to get used to the new normal.

However, according to the plan of Vinh City People's Committee, during this time, the city still recommends that people limit going out of their homes if not really necessary; limit the number of people participating in events, weddings, ceremonies, and crowded activities in public places, outside of offices, schools, and hospitals (maximum of 20 people).

Specifically, according to the plan, regarding the management of cultural, sports, festival, religious ceremonies and events, Vinh City requires continuing to suspend cultural and artistic activities, sports tournaments, football and volleyball activities at stadiums and public areas. Continue to suspend festival activities and religious ceremonies gathering 20 people or more.

For weddings and funerals, only ceremonies are held within the family and with absolutely necessary relationships, but with no more than 20 people. For events serving political, economic, and social purposes that are absolutely necessary to be held, the local Party Committee, government, agency, organization, or unit shall decide the number of attendees and be responsible for implementing epidemic prevention and control measures according to regulations. No festivals or celebrations shall be held.
