The highest benchmark of Vinh University is History Pedagogy.
Late this afternoon (August 17), Vinh University announced the first round of regular admission scores for 2024. As expected, pedagogy is still the major with the highest admission score.
Accordingly, with the method of considering scores from the high school graduation exam (method 100), the highest admission score is for History Pedagogy with an admission score of 28.71 points. Next is Geography Pedagogy with 28.50 points, and Literature Pedagogy with 28.46 points.
This year, according to this admission method, majors such as Mathematics Pedagogy, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English Pedagogy, Vinh University takes coefficient 2 scores with the training major score, the admission score is converted to a scale of 30 according to the formula: Admission score = (Main subject x 2 + Subject 2 + Subject 3) × 3/4 + Priority score.

For the remaining majors, the admission score is the sum of 3 exam subjects, including priority points (if any). The admission score for the majors is from 16 - 28.12 points.
Majors with high scores are mainly Primary Education and Political Education. Majors with low scores of 16 points are Architecture, Construction Engineering, Traffic Construction Engineering, Land Management, Natural Resources and Environment Management, Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, Plant Science, Aquaculture...
In addition to the method of considering high school graduation exam results, Vinh University also considers the method of combining graduation exam scores with aptitude tests (method 405) and combining academic records with aptitude tests (method 406), the method of considering high school learning results (method 200) and the method of using the results of capacity assessment and thinking assessment tests organized by other units (method 402).

In 2024, Vinh University will enroll more than 4,200 students, with 6 methods: Direct admission according to admission regulations; Direct admission according to Vinh University's project; High school graduation exam results; Academic records; Competency assessment test scores, thinking assessment; Combining high school graduation exam scores, academic records with aptitude test scores.
Of these methods, Vinh University reserves 2% for direct admission according to admission regulations, 18% for direct admission according to the school's project, 50% for considering graduation exam results, 20% for using academic results, and 10% for competency assessment and thinking assessment exams.
With the admission method for majors with gifted subjects for the three majors of Preschool Education, Physical Education and Architecture, the school takes 80% of the quota from combining the graduation exam results with the gifted exam scores and 20% from combining the high school study results with the gifted exam scores.
