Quy Chau district defense area exercise 2018
(Baonghean.vn) - The exercise will take place over 3 days (July 31 to August 2), divided into 3 phases: Moving armed forces into combat readiness states; Moving localities into defense states; Preparing for defensive operations and practicing people's air defense operations.
On the morning of July 31, Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command chaired the opening ceremony of the Defense Area Exercise in Quy Chau district.
On the side of Quy Chau District Party Committee, there was comrade Lang Van Chien - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the District Defense Area Exercise.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Hung affirmed the importance and purpose of the exercise. Through the exercise, it aims to thoroughly grasp, organize and concretize the resolutions and directives of the Party and State on the construction and operation of defense zones.
At the same time, improve the leadership and management capacity of local Party committees and authorities; the advisory capacity of military and police agencies and departments, branches and organizations; combat readiness level, coordination ability between forces in national defense emergencies, and transition of localities to wartime.

This is also an opportunity to evaluate the combat readiness training results of local armed forces, supplement plans and combat strategies, and strengthen national defense and security./.
