Dien Tho strives to become a commune with top economic development in Dien Chau district.

Attending the congress were comrades: Ho Dang Tai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Dang Quang Hong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Pham Xuan Sanh - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; comrades in the Dien Chau District Congress Steering Committee and 200 official party members.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Dien Tho commune has strived to achieve many important and comprehensive results. The Resolution of the 21st Party Congress of the commune for the 2020 - 2025 term set out 22 criteria, and up to now, 20/22 criteria have been achieved and exceeded the plan, notably: the average annual growth rate in the commune reached 11.9%; the total production value in 2020 was 332.5 billion VND, by the end of 2024 it was 638.7 billion VND; the average income reached 70.1 million VND/person/year.

The economic structure has shifted in the right direction, the proportion of agriculture has gradually decreased; small-scale industry, construction, and trade services have increased rapidly and sustainably.

The education, culture and society sectors have achieved remarkable achievements. School facilities have been invested in the direction of standardization, the quality of teaching and learning has been improved. Currently, the commune has 3 schools that meet national standards (of which the Primary and Kindergarten schools have met national standards level 2). Local defense and military work has been strengthened; political security and social order and safety have been maintained.

The work of building the Party and the political system continued to be promoted. The role of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations was strengthened, and the quality and efficiency were improved. The work of "skillful mass mobilization", democratic regulations at the grassroots level, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local socio-economic development were well implemented.

The Party Committee of Dien Tho commune identified 3 breakthroughs: Focusing on promoting the maintenance of small-scale industries and services; creating employment opportunities, improving the material and spiritual income of the people, contributing to reducing the poverty rate, increasing the rate of well-off and rich people in the commune; Focusing on accelerating and strengthening administrative reform in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Dang Quang Hong - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dien Chau District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Tho commune in the past term.

He suggested that in the coming term, the Party Committee of the commune should continue to promote the direction of service and trade development; exploit and promote the effectiveness of investment projects, develop industries, production and business establishments, and services to solve employment problems, promote economic restructuring and labor restructuring in the commune. Promote administrative reform, apply science and technology and innovation in the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo; apply scientific and technological advances to state management, effectively serving the socio-economic development goals of the locality. Well implement the work of maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

Building a truly clean and strong Party Committee and Party organizations to be capable of leading the people to successfully implement the Resolution of the 22nd Commune Party Congress. With the determination to build Dien Tho to soon become an advanced new rural commune and gradually achieve the model New Rural standards; striving to become a commune with top economic development in the district, a leading growth pole in the southern region of Dien Chau district.

The Congress elected 15 comrades to the new Executive Committee of the Dien Tho Commune Party Committee; elected a delegation of 6 official delegates to attend the higher-level Congress. Comrade Hoang Van Bay - Secretary of the Dien Tho Commune Party Committee was re-elected as Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
