Dien Tho Commune Party Committee: Mobilizing and effectively using resources for development

Focus on economic and social development

One of the Resolution targets approved by 100% of delegates at the Dien Tho Commune Party Congress (Dien Chau) for the 2020-2025 term is to strive to develop the local economy and society and improve people's lives. Immediately after the Congress, the Commune Party Committee concretized the Resolution by leading and directing people to focus on economic and social development, focusing on developing industry, handicrafts, trade and services.

Grasping the leadership of the Party Committee and the communal government, Party Cell 6 is one of the typical units in propagating and mobilizing people to shift the structure, develop diverse occupations, and increase income.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sieu - Secretary of Party Cell 6, Dien Tho Commune said: "Determining to improve people's lives, the first solution is to propagate and mobilize people to shift the structure. As an area with the advantage of being near the market and the inter-commune road, the Party Committee of the Party Cell has mobilized people to develop trade and services. From the beginning of the term, the whole hamlet only had 18 business stalls, by the end of 2024, it had developed to 49 stalls selling a variety of products, creating conditions for dozens of workers to have jobs and increase family income by 20 - 30 million VND per month.

In addition, many households have invested capital to buy cars with 7 seats or more to run services. The Party cell also propagates to the people to work abroad, up to now, the whole village has 37 people working abroad with an income of 30 - 40 million VND/month.

Along with economic development, the work of site clearance to attract investment in the Tho Loc Industrial Park project into the area is also a clear mark of the Commune Party Committee in the last term. In order for the project to be soon implemented and put into operation, the Commune Party Committee issued a Resolution on propaganda and mobilizing people to carry out site clearance well; assigning comrades in the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee to directly meet with Party cells to disseminate policies.

Thanks to that, the vast majority of cadres, party members and people have grasped the policy and implemented it as an example. In just a short time, 1,621/1,629 households have agreed to carry out inventory, counting and signing of various types of documents. Of these, 1,439 have received compensation support money, accounting for 88.3%.

Mr. Hoang Van Bay - Secretary of the Dien Tho Commune Party Committee (Dien Chau) said: in the work of site clearance, party members are the typical core in implementing policies for people to follow. In addition to the Tho Loc Industrial Park project, the project to expand Road 205 is also pioneered and set an example by party members, thereby agreeing with the policy with the households. If these two projects are soon invested in, constructed and put into operation, it will bring opportunities for comprehensive development in all aspects of economy - society, national defense - security and convenient trade for local people. The rural face will increasingly improve, the material and spiritual life of the people will be significantly improved, especially children of working age will have the opportunity to work and contribute right on their homeland.

Grow and prosper

Coming to Dien Tho today, everyone can feel a new look, a comprehensive change in all fields. That achievement is thanks to the correct Resolutions in economic development, encouraging the construction of local economic models; expanding trade and commerce services to attract many funding sources for economic development. Thanks to the development of services and commerce, the average annual growth rate in the commune reached 11.9%; average income per capita reached 70.1 million VND/year.

The economic structure shifted in the right direction, the proportion of agriculture gradually decreased; small-scale industry, construction, and trade services increased rapidly and sustainably. During the term, projects such as schools, roads, commune People's Committee headquarters, medical stations, commune martyrs' cemeteries, high-voltage lighting lines on inter-commune roads... also received investment and construction attention.

The education, culture and society sectors have also achieved remarkable achievements in the past term. School facilities have been invested in the direction of standardization, and the quality of teaching and learning has been improved. Currently, the commune has 3 schools that meet national standards (of which the Primary and Kindergarten schools have met national standards at Level 2).

The work of protecting and taking care of people's health is focused on; the cultural and artistic movement, physical training and sports are widely developed; the quality of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" is increasingly improved; the rate of families recognized as cultural families annually reaches 95% or more. National defense work is consolidated; political security is maintained, social order and safety are guaranteed and stable, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development.

Identifying Party building as the key step, the Dien Tho Commune Party Committee always focuses on Party building work in all three aspects: politics, ideology, and organization. The Party Executive Committee has led, directed, organized, thoroughly grasped, and effectively implemented the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle in many diverse and practical forms in accordance with the spirit of the Central Resolution 4 of the 11th, 12th, and 13th terms of the Party.

In particular, during the past term, the Party Committee of the commune issued many specialized resolutions, notably the resolution on compensation and site clearance, land management, construction order; administrative reform, digital transformation, etc. which were well received by the people and effectively implemented, creating a fundamental change in awareness and action, and the exemplary pioneering spirit of each party member.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Dien Tho Commune Party Committee set the goal: "Strengthening the building and rectification of a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting democracy, solidarity, discipline, and innovation; ensuring national defense and security; mobilizing and effectively using resources for development, promoting industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas, associated with breakthroughs in traffic infrastructure, urban areas, and digital transformation; improving the quality of people's lives; building a rich, beautiful, and civilized Dien Tho commune".

With new determination, new spirit, new confidence, the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Tho commune will certainly move forward to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 22nd Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
