Dien Tho Commune Police, Dien Chau District, said they are completing documents to administratively sanction a case of posting false information on social networks.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Dien Tho Commune Police discovered that on March 31, 2025, on the Facebook group "PHU THO LOI LOC MARKET" posted the following content: "Information, Dien Tho Commune Police last night successfully arrested a case of gambling for money at Thai Ba Tuyen's house, Dien Tho parish. After the arrest, the Police collected all the money between the gambling table and took the gamblers to the commune committee to work. Collected an additional 1,500,000 VND from each person and let them go as if nothing had happened. It is not known where the money collected between the gambling table and each individual had to give more to that case would go, because in the past 3 years, we have seen many cases of gambling like this being caught and handled without a record in Dien Tho". However, the above post was later removed.

Dien Tho Commune Police quickly verified and clarified that the account that posted the above article belonged to Mr. HMT (born in 1986), residing in the area. On April 1, the police force worked with HMT, T. admitted that he posted the article only to increase interaction on social networks, the information content was completely false.

Afterwards, Mr. HMT posted an article correcting the information and pledging not to repeat the offense.
