Head of the Economic Infrastructure Department of Hung Nguyen District, Thai Huy Dung, said: "The district has reviewed the number of beneficiaries and found two cases of incorrect beneficiaries, including one case of a fake war invalid and one case of a martyr's brother who is not among the subjects eligible for support. The reason for the number of subjects that have not been implemented according to localities is that these subjects are mostly elderly, single, sick and have economic difficulties so they have not been able to implement the construction; some subjects have died and their children do not have the funds to implement it.
In addition, because the subjects have been supported by social organizations and enterprises to build houses but still want to receive funding from Decision 22 of the Government. Some subjects, after registering for repair, when implementing the implementation, due to the damage to the house, have to switch to new construction. The number of subjects arising from repair to new construction is relatively large, so the ability to pay may not be enough.
Chairman of Hung Nguyen District People's Committee Ngo Phu Han said: The district focused on reviewing, in addition to 804 meritorious people with difficult circumstances who received financial support for building houses, the district People's Committee established a review team and added 28 cases that have not been approved in the Project.
“Hung Nguyen district recommends that the province pay attention to adding to the list to ensure the implementation of the policy in a fair, accurate and objective manner. The district assigns responsibility to the chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and towns and relevant departments and offices to focus on disbursing the support money” - the head of the Hung Nguyen district government suggested.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thanh Hien emphasized that the policy of supporting the construction and repair of houses for people with revolutionary contributions is a humane policy, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party and State to care for people with revolutionary contributions.
Acknowledging Thanh Chuong and Hung Nguyen districts' attention to issuing directive documents, perfecting the steering committee, reviewing and counting policy households with difficult circumstances to request support.
However, up to now, there are still some subjects that have not been implemented. It is recommended that localities continue to pay attention to specifically studying documents and propagating in the political system for the people to know. Continue to review the wrong beneficiaries, add subjects that are not included in the project; focus on disbursement so that the subjects can soon enjoy the preferential policies of the State, contributing to reducing difficulties and encouraging families with meritorious services to the revolution to improve their lives.
