Nghe An and Hung Yen Police Youth Union presented hundreds of gifts in Ky Son district

(Baonghean.vn) - The Youth Union of the Department of Internal Security (Nghe An Provincial Police) in coordination with the Youth Union of the Department of Investigation Security, Criminal Police, and Staff (Hung Yen Provincial Police) organized the program "March Border" with the theme "My Fatherland's Border" for students and people in remote areas.

The program "March Border Month" with the theme "My Fatherland's Border" is one of the important activities towards the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023).

As part of the program's activities, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the people and students of Na Loi commune, Ky Son district. This is a border commune of Ky Son district, with 5 villages, mainly inhabited by Thai and Kho Mu ethnic minorities, with a population of more than 2,000 people. The lives of the people here are particularly difficult.

At the program, the delegation presented more than 100 gifts to students of Na Loi Primary and Secondary Boarding School. Each gift included essential necessities such as books, clothes, school supplies, etc. with a total value of more than 75 million VND. This amount was donated by the Youth Union of the Internal Security Department (Nghe An Provincial Police), the Youth Union of the Investigation Security Department, the Criminal Police Department, the Staff Department (Hung Yen Provincial Police) and other benefactors to help share the difficulties with the people in the highlands.

Next, the delegation presented 30 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND, to families in difficult circumstances and policy families in Na Loi commune. The gifts included instant noodles, rice and some essential necessities, which were handed directly to the people with the wish to join hands to support and encourage the families to overcome difficulties and improve their lives. On this occasion, the delegation presented 5 gifts to the Commune Military Command, 5 gifts to the Commune Police and Border Guard to encourage the soldiers to work well and firmly protect the Fatherland's borders.

Previously, the delegation presented valuable gifts at the "Community Grocery Store" in Huoi Tu Commune to share difficulties with the people. This is a "Zero-VND Store" model built by the Department of Internal Security (Nghe An Provincial Police) in 2020. The store sells necessities such as MSG, cooking oil, seasoning powder, clothes, etc. at 0 VND, to help people in the highlands. Here, the delegation presented 5 gifts to 5 households with especially difficult circumstances in Huoi Tu Commune.
