The tool used to catch field mice by the people of Duc Thanh commune is extremely unique, which is to use stripes (also known as that) that are identical to a fish trap. Currently, the most famous field mouse hunting profession is still in Yen Thanh district. Right in Duc Thanh commune, every day hundreds of people spread out to all the fields from Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu... to hunt mice. By late afternoon, they bring back tons of mice for traders, then the mice are sent by truck to Hanoi for consumption and processed into specialties.
