Comrade Nguyen Van Thong visited and inspected the quarantine area in Dien Chau and Quy Hop districts.

On the morning of April 4, the provincial working delegation led by comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, presented gifts, and inspected quarantine areas in Dien Chau and Quy Hop districts. The working delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission. Also accompanying were comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

The delegation visited, inspected, and presented gifts to officers, soldiers, and medical staff on duty at the quarantine area in Dien Chau district. There are currently 225 people returning from Laos since March 26, including 4 citizens who were transferred to quarantine at Dien Chau District General Hospital. The citizens being quarantined here are mainly from localities in Nghe An province and 2 people from Hung Yen province.

The quarantine area is staffed by 62 people from the District Military Command, District Police, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station and Dien Chau District Medical Center.

According to the report of the Military Command of Dien Chau district, the service department at the quarantine area performed its functions and tasks well, stabilizing the lives of the quarantined people; at the same time, maintaining daily visits and examinations, promptly handling problems arising from illnesses of the quarantined people.

The epidemic prevention and disinfection work is carried out according to the correct procedures and ensures that people in direct contact with quarantined citizens are protected; logistics are well organized to serve the quarantine task and ensure security, order, etc.

In particular, the quarantine area received a lot of support from people in the district providing food and provisions.

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers, and medical staff performing duties at the quarantine area located at Chau Ly Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in Quy Hop district.

Before welcoming people back for medical quarantine, Quy Hop district directed units and localities to organize environmental sanitation, repair some items; and arrange the system of tables and signs according to regulations.

Currently, the quarantine area has 163 citizens returning from Laos under medical quarantine. After receiving the people for quarantine since March 31, Quy Hop district quickly stabilized the accommodation for the citizens.

Every day, the service department measures body temperature, knows the menu to adjust the portion, and prepares suitable dishes. A force of 44 comrades from the District Military Command, Police, and District Medical Center is arranged to serve the quarantined people.

Visiting and presenting gifts to encourage officers, soldiers and medical staff at concentrated quarantine sites, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of local Party committees and authorities, creating favorable conditions for facilities and implementing quarantine at these places in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

People's lives in the quarantine area are relatively good; everyone lives normally, complies with the quarantine area's regulations, and is in stable health.

In particular, local people have promoted national spirit, solidarity, mutual love, and support with food and supplies, and volunteer teams have participated in cleaning and cooking in quarantine areas.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the situation and encouraged the staff, soldiers, and medical staff to perform well the supervision and inspection work, ensuring the effectiveness of the quarantine area, especially paying attention to maintaining health to be able to perform well the assigned tasks.

At the same time, continue to propagate and encourage people in the quarantined area so that they clearly understand the purpose of quarantine, the State's support policies... to reassure people and avoid panic.

At the quarantine areas visited, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong presented gifts to encourage officers, soldiers, medical staff, and people.
