Nearly 300 Nghe An soldiers help people dredge canals
(Baonghean.vn) - About 2km of irrigation canals in Nghi Kim commune (Vinh city) were repaired and dredged by soldiers.
On the morning of April 21, nearly 300 soldiers from the forces of the Provincial Military Command, including Regiment 764, Vinh City Military Command... coordinated with the Women's Union of several hamlets in Nghi Kim commune (Vinh City) to clean up canals.

A 2km long ditch was filled with garbage and mud, causing blockages in the water flow, making it difficult for local people to irrigate and drain water during the flood season.
Using tools such as hoes and shovels, soldiers dredged mud and trash, helping to clear canals.

According to the leader of the Provincial Military Command, this work is aimed at helping the locality maintain environmental criteria in new rural construction, and at demonstrating the role, responsibility and affection of the province's armed forces for people's lives.
