“After removing the tapeworm from the body, the patient must use specific medication to kill the tapeworm eggs that are still hidden in the patient’s body because if this case is not treated, in the long run the tapeworm eggs will go into the intestines, then into the liver to create an abscess or move down to the bile duct to reside,” shared Dr. Nguyen Hong Vui.
The cause was determined to be that the patient often ate raw fish and vegetables from the water. It is known that Mr. T had previously gone to the hospital for examination but the disease was still not detected.

In case people have the habit of eating raw fish or raw vegetables from ponds and lakes and have symptoms of fever and pain in the liver area, they should go to the hospital for testing and early treatment.
