According to observations, hundreds of cubic meters of soil and rock have collapsed in the Nguoc mountain range, causing the protective steel mesh to deform and break.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Road Management II said: To ensure the safety of people and vehicles passing through here, we are cutting the steel mesh of the sections where rocks and soil have fallen down to use mechanical means to remove them. Then continue to reinforce the steel mesh by welding additional steel bars from 12-14mm to prevent rocks and soil from falling down, the survey unit will handle the hanging rock points to minimize rocks falling from above.
