Rescue 2 people trapped in elevator in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - At 3:20 a.m. on May 28, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Command Center, Nghe An Provincial Police received a report that 2 people were trapped in the elevator on the 2nd floor of building 3A, Handico 30 apartment building, Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city.

At around 3:00 a.m. this morning (May 28), Mr. TCA (born in 1992, residing in Vinh city) and a friend took the elevator from the 6th floor of building 3A, Handico 30 apartment building (Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city) down to the 1st floor.
When they reached the second floor, the elevator got stuck and stopped moving, and the elevator door was also stuck and could not be opened. At that time, the elevator alarm was not working, and there was no one outside to help. Because the elevator was closed and there was no phone signal, Mr. A. and his friend had to pry open the door slightly to catch the signal and call the rescue team.
Upon receiving the news, immediately, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team No. 1 to mobilize 01 rescue vehicle and 07 officers and soldiers to the scene.
Rescue forces quickly used specialized equipment to pry open the door so the trapped victims could have air to breathe, then promptly broke the door to rescue the two men safely.
