(Baonghean.vn) - On the way home from school, teachers from the mountainous area of Ky Son district met a woman in labor on the side of the road. They helped her have a safe delivery.

At 11:00 a.m. on November 15, on her way home from teaching in Pha Khao village (Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district), teacher Luong Thi May, a teacher at Pha Danh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, met a young pregnant woman (living in Keng Du commune) who was about to give birth.

With the experience of a mother, teacher Luong Thi May cooperated with the village nurse to deliver a baby boy weighing more than 3 kg. After nearly 30 minutes of giving birth, the placenta was not pushed out, the mother was in pain and lost strength, her face was pale and weak,... immediately, teacher May and teacher Lo Thi Tham (teacher of Huoi Tu Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities), along with the family members helped the mother into the car and took her to Ky Son District Medical Center.

"Normally I'm very scared but I don't know why at that moment I forgot everything and just wished for a safe delivery" - Ms. Luong Thi May said.
Currently, the mother and baby boy are in stable health.
