Hiding more than 1,000 pink pills in a secret place waiting to sell to customers

On the afternoon of April 18, the Investigation Police Agency (Nghi Loc District Police) announced: The unit successfully broke the 419H case, arrested Trinh Van Linh (born in 1992), residing in Hamlet 2, Hung Nhan Commune, Hung Nguyen District, with evidence of more than 1,000 pink pills.

Previously, in early April 2019, through reconnaissance work, Nghi Loc District Police grasped information that there were a number of subjects who specialized in taking drugs in Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province and then supplying them to addicts in Nghi Loc District. The unit's leaders established Project 419H to investigate and clarify the matter.

Using professional measures, the investigation agency focused on suspecting Trinh Van Linh as the main link in this chain. Through surveillance, the task force learned that on April 10, the subject went to Huong Son district to buy drugs and then went to Vinh city to sell. At 5:00 p.m. the same day, the task force determined that the subject was standing on Truong Chinh street, so they coordinated with the Le Loi ward police (Vinh city) to raid and arrest him red-handed.

During the search, the authorities discovered a pair of stockings in the underwear the suspect was wearing, containing 5 packets of ecstasy, totaling more than 1,000 pills. At the investigation agency, Trinh Van Linh confessed that he had just finished serving an 8-year prison sentence for robbery for 2 months. Instead of working honestly, he went into drug trafficking to quickly have money to spend.

On the afternoon of April 18, the Nghi Loc District Police Department issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Trinh Van Linh for drug trafficking to continue investigating and clarifying the case.
