Two people who resisted quarantine checkpoint were prosecuted
Nguyen Van Quynh (34 years old) and Thai Xuan Hung (37 years old) were prosecuted for allegedly obstructing body temperature checks and wearing masks.
On April 9, Quynh and Hung were prosecuted by Yen Phong District Police and Tu Son Town Police for the crime.Resisting law enforcement officers, according to Article 330 of the 2015 Penal Code with the highest penalty of up to 7 years in prison.

According to the investigation results, at around 5:00 p.m. on April 7, Quynh was discovered not wearing a mask when passing through the epidemic control checkpoint in Thiem Xuyen village, Thuy Hoa commune, Yen Phong district.
Authorities warned Quynh but he did not comply and used abusive language. When a police officer used his phone to record the image, Quynh snatched the phone and threw it on the street.

As for Hung, at around 1am on April 6, he passed through Covid-19 checkpoint No. 5 on Provincial Road 295B, bordering Hanoi and Tu Son town, Bac Ninh. When asked to measure his body temperature and alcohol concentration, Hung cursed and lay on the roof of the car, obstructing the working group for many hours.
Hung said he was drunk at the time and could not control his actions.
