Limiting incorrect and missing information on people's health insurance cards
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the opinions of the leader of Chau Phong Commune People's Committee during the working session with the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee according to the program of monitoring the implementation of policies and laws on health insurance in Quy Chau district on the morning of May 21.
Chau Phong commune is one of the most difficult localities in Quy Chau district; implementing policies on health insurance, the commune has directed the organization to integrate propaganda on health insurance policies so that people clearly understand their rights and responsibilities.

From 2017 to present, in addition to the subjects who have been issued cards by employers such as: cadres, civil servants, etc., all policy subjects in the commune have been issued health insurance cards.
At TChau Phong commune health station, the number of people examined and treated in 2015 reached 3,408; in 2016: 3,996; in 2017: 3,617; in the first quarter of 2018: 570; the quality of medical examination and treatment at the commune level has not met the people's needs, so the need for connecting and transferring lines is higher.
At the meeting, Mr. Luong Van Nam - Chairman of Chau Phong Commune People's Committee said: "Although the commune receives all health insurance premiums from the State budget for local people, due to limited awareness of local people, there is a lack of or incorrect information on health insurance cards, and this reality causes difficulties in medical examination and treatment."

Local leaders request that competent authorities promptly direct and guide when there are changes in the guidance on documents and procedures for issuing health insurance cards; health insurance cards should clearly state the address of the card user to facilitate the issuance of cards to villages.
The monitoring delegation discussed and requested Chau Phong commune authorities to clarify a number of issues related to the incorrect process of issuing books and cards; the number of ethnic minorities participating in health insurance; the rate of duplicated information errors; medical care and treatment for students and people, etc.
At the same time, the commune is requested to strengthen the propaganda work on health insurance for the people; make a list of printed health insurance cards, review the information of the subjects to avoid errors; pay attention to issuing health insurance cards for children under 6 years old and coordinate with the health station; improve the quality of on-site medical examination and treatment for the people...
