Every year, the school organizes cooperation agreements with businesses in and outside the province to find internship locations for students and provide jobs after graduation. On average, 80% of graduates have jobs.

Of the nearly 6,000 students who graduated in the past 5 years, about 92% of them have jobs with stable income.

Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce currently has 3 training facilities (2 facilities in Cua Lo town and 1 facility in Vinh city). Currently, the school has 18 training majors with 3 levels: College, intermediate, primary.

Annual enrollment is 1,185 people. Of the nearly 7,400 students who graduated in the past 5 years, an average of over 90% have jobs.

Identifying enrollment as an important step in the school's activities, the Party Committee and the School Council always pay attention to leading and directing this work. In addition, every year the school coordinates with secondary schools in Vinh city, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo and neighboring areas to organize propaganda for parents about intermediate level training and cultural education, and policies.

POLICY FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Working with the Supervisory Delegation, the schools reflected on the difficulties in training, such as enrollment results not reaching the set targets; the number of lecturers in some majors is still lacking, difficult to recruit; training equipment in some technological professions has not kept up with the development of science and technology; cooperation with some businesses is still difficult, etc.

To meet the training scale to meet the high-quality human resource needs of the province in particular and the country in general, the schools proposed that the Central Government needs to plan strategies and plan the vocational training network flexibly and effectively.

It is necessary to issue documents regulating and providing detailed instructions for implementing the Law on Employment; to develop and promulgate framework regulations on labor use.

For the Provincial People's Council, the annual funding for vocational training needs to be adjusted to match market prices. The implementation of streamlining the payroll needs to be flexible and suitable to the characteristics of each vocational training institution.

At the same time, promoting the field of vocational training and introducing jobs after training must be diverse, extensive and have a widespread effect on students and parents.

Vocational training and job creation by schools have contributed to economic development - social security, creating jobs for children.

Besides, schools coordinate well with businesses both during the training process and in job placement right after training.

Sharing the difficulties in vocational training of schools, the Supervisory Delegation suggested that schools should pay attention to soft skills training for students; strengthen the connection between schools and localities and businesses in vocational training; and have policies to attract highly skilled teachers and artisans.

Strengthening the connection between vocational training facilities in districts, cities and towns to improve the quality of vocational training. Schools grasp the trends of the labor market and proactively build training programs suitable to labor needs./.
