The Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution regulating the expenditure level for the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 6, the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVII, held the 18th session to review and decide on contents within its authority.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and discussed the draft Resolution regulating a number of expenditure levels for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Nghe An province.
The purpose of the Resolution is to ensure that funding for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Nghe An province is estimated, managed, used and settled in a timely and proper manner. Improve the quality and effectiveness of state management through the promulgation of legal documents by People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels.

The subjects of application of the draft Resolution are the Provincial Election Steering Committee, District Election Steering Committee, Commune Election Steering Committee; Provincial Election Committee, District Election Committee, Commune Election Committee; National Assembly Election Committee, Provincial People's Council Election Committee, District People's Council Election Committee, Commune People's Council Election Committee; Election Team.
The subjects of application also include Subcommittees, Support Teams, Service Teams for the Election Committees at all levels, agencies assigned to directly and regularly advise during the election period; Sectors, agencies, units and localities in Nghe An province assigned tasks related to the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2021 - 2026.

The draft Resolution also stipulates that the budget for election work must be strictly managed by agencies, units and localities, spent in accordance with the correct regime, for the right purpose, and effectively; priority must be given to the use of means used for previous elections that are still usable, and the means currently equipped in agencies and units must be mobilized to serve election tasks, ensuring savings for the State budget.
After listening to the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council report on the results of the examination of the submission and draft Resolution, the representative of the Department of Finance - the agency in charge of drafting the draft Resolution presented a report on the acceptance and explanation of the submission and draft Resolution, the Provincial People's Council voted to pass the Resolution regulating a number of expenditure levels for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2021 - 2026 term in Nghe An province. The Resolution takes effect from February 16, 2021.
