Efforts to preserve the culture of the O Du ethnic group
Editor's note: With only about 500 people, the O Du ethnic group currently has the smallest population in Vietnam. With a small population and difficult life, having to live among more populous ethnic groups, the unique cultural features of the O Du people are gradually being lost.

Final episode: Continuing the aspirations of the O Du people
When they were first brought to live in a separate village, the economic life of the O Du people was considered the most difficult among the ethnic minority communities in Western Nghe An, while their unique cultural features had almost been lost.
Part 3: Relearning mother tongue
Despite their small population, the O Du people have their own language. However, due to many ups and downs and having to live among other ethnic groups for hundreds of years, most of the O Du people have switched to speaking the Kho Mu and Thai languages.
Part 2: The New Year Begins with Thunder
After a half-century hiatus, in recent years, the New Year Thunder Ceremony has been regularly held by the O Du people in the village. The recognition of this ritual as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage has revived the unique cultural features of this small ethnic group that were once thought to be forgotten.
Part 1: Exploring the Nam Non region
The O Du people currently have only about 100 households, mainly living in Vang Mon village (Nga My commune). Few people know that they have a proud past. Their ancestors are said to be the first people to reclaim the land on both sides of the Nam Non River - the upper source of the Lam River.
