After 45 years of operation, affected by harsh natural conditions, the museum has seriously degraded both in terms of facilities and exhibition content. The roof is damaged and leaky, the floors, columns, and stairs are infested with termites, making it unsafe for visitors. The interior display system is outdated, documents and artifacts are degraded due to lack of suitable preservation equipment,...
Therefore, investing in upgrading the Museum of Culture of Western Nghe An Ethnic Groups in Quy Chau district is necessary to serve the research, collection, preservation, display, introduction and promotion of the fine traditional cultural values of Nghe An ethnic minorities associated with the development of tourism in the Western Nghe An region.
