Last night and this morning (June 13), storm No. 2 directly affected the Northern Delta and North Central regions. At around 5:00 a.m. on June 13, storm No. 2 was located in the area from Thai Binh to the north of Nghe An.

This morning, June 13, storm number 2 made landfall.

Due to the influence ofstorm no. 2, in Bach Long Vi island district, there were strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 9; in Hon Ngu island, there were gusts of level 9; in Hon Dau island, there were strong winds of level 7, gusting to level 10; on the mainland along the coast in Van Ly (Nam Dinh)wind force 8,level 10, Thai Binh city has strong winds of level 6,level 10In the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh, there was heavy to very heavy rain with total rainfall from 7:00 a.m. on June 12 to 4:00 a.m. on June 13 commonly 120-250mm.

At 5:00 a.m. on June 13, the center of the storm was at about 19.7 degrees North latitude; 105.8 degrees East longitude, on the mainland along the coast from Thai Binh to the south.North Nghe An. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8 (60-75km/hour),level 10. Radius of strong winds from level 6, gusting from level 8 or higher about 100km from the center of the storm.
It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, traveling 15-20km per hour and gradually weaken into a tropical depression. At 11:00 on June 13, the center of the tropical depression will be at about 20.0 degrees North latitude; 105.3 degrees East longitude, on the mainland of Thanh Hoa area. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression will be level 6 (40-50km/hour),level 7.
In the next 06 to 12 hours,tropical depressionmoving in the West Northwest direction, 15-20km per hour and gradually weakening into a low pressure area.

Warning of strong winds at sea: This morning (June 13) in the Gulf of Tonkin (including Bach Long Vi island district), there will be strong winds of level 6-7, near the storm center, level 8, gusting to level 10, waves from 3.0-5.0m high; very rough seas.

Heavy Rain Warning:On June 13, in the plains, midlands of the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms with total rainfall ranging from 50-120mm, and in some places over 150mm.
