More than 100 athletes compete in table tennis and wrestling at the 9th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival

Speaking at the opening of the congress, comrade Hoang Danh Truyen - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Deputy of the Congress Organizing Committee emphasized the district's achievements.Yen Thanhachieved in the sports movement, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the province's sports in recent years.
Sports CongressThe 9th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival was held at Gam Pagoda, Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, including 2 competitions: table tennis and wrestling, with over 100 athletes from districts and cities in the province participating.
In table tennis, athletes compete in 7 categories: Men's doubles, women's doubles, men's singles, women's singles, men's and women's doubles, men's teams, women's teams, competing in a round-robin format.
In wrestling, athletes will compete in 9 weight classes. The Organizing Committee is expected to award 16 sets of medals for 2 events.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports said: This year's tournament, the Department of Culture and Sports directly prepared the competition mats, table tennis tables that meet the standards of the World Table Tennis Federation as well as mats, to help the athletes compete both safely and improve their professionalism.
Through the Sports Festival, the best athletes from localities and sectors are selected to compete in the upcoming National Sports Festival. This is an opportunity for localities to build a movement of "all people practicing sports to improve health".
