More than 250 actors participate in the 2023 Nghe An Province 'Singing Festival for the Elderly'

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Cao Dang Vinh - Chairman of the Provincial Association of the Elderly; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and units at the provincial level.

The 2023 Nghe An Province Elderly Singing Festival is a practical activity towards the 33rd anniversary of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1). At the same time, it aims to improve the quality of activities of the Elderly Association at all levels in the province; create conditions for members to exchange, learn and share experiences in the field of culture and arts.

Thereby, encouraging and mobilizing members to enthusiastically participate in the movement, promote creativity, and contribute to building a strong and sustainable Association. This is also an opportunity to exchange and connect the Association of the Elderly in the whole province, a useful playground to improve the spiritual life of the elderly, helping the elderly express their optimism and love of life through the works they participate in performing.

The 2023 Nghe An Province "Singing Festival for the Elderly" has the participation of more than 250 actors and musicians from mass art troupes from 21 districts, cities and towns across the province.

The festival aims to praise the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country; praise the cultural life, the heroic traditions of the nation, the innovation achievements of Nghe An province. At the same time, it praises the tradition of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the contributions of the elderly in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the emulation movement "Old age - bright example".

The 2023 Nghe An Province Elderly Singing Festival is expected to end and award the prizes on September 6.
