Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Head of Ground Management Department, Vinh International Airport said: Due to drizzle and limited visibility, all flights to and from Bamboo Airways and VietJet had to be canceled. There are 9flight had to be cancelled,In particular, Bamboo Airways canceled 4 flights between Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh, Vinh - Da Lat, Da Lat - Vinh and Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City on January 7.

Vietnam Airlines has also canceled flights between Buon Ma Thuot - Vinh, Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) - Vinh. Some remaining flights of Vietnam Airlines also had to delay their departure times. Specifically, flights between Hanoi and Vinh were delayed after 8 p.m. Other flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh were also delayed after 9 p.m. on the same day.
