Yen Thanh district reports to President Ho Chi Minh at Uncle Ho's Memorial House in Vinh Thanh commune

Before his spirit, the leaders of Yen Thanh district respectfully offered fresh flower baskets and incense sticks to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero and outstanding cultural celebrity, and at the same time reported to him on the results of socio-economic development in the district.

In recent years, despite the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Party Committee, government and people of Yen Thanh district have promoted tradition, united, joined forces to promote patriotic emulation movements, shifted the economic structure in the right direction, with an average growth rate of 9-10%/year. Up to now, the average income per capita has reached over 52 million VND/year.

Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a regular activity with many practical activities; Party building and political system building work has been strengthened. In particular, the new rural construction movement has created a new development spread, with 5 communes recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting advanced new rural standards...

On the occasion of the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee and people of Yen Thanh district vow to continueengrave Uncle Ho's teachings,determined to successfully implement the socio-economic goals set out in the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; to build the homeland to increasingly develop and improve people's lives.

Uncle Ho visited his hometown Nghe An twice, in 1957 and 1961. During his visit in 1961, Yen Thanh district was honored to welcome him to visit Vinh Thanh Agricultural Cooperative. This was the first high-class agricultural cooperative of the whole commune in Nghe An province, leading in tree planting, livestock raising, irrigation movements with many advanced models and the leading flag in the agricultural cooperative movement in the North.
