Opening of the preparatory session of the Nam Dan District Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term

The Congress was attended by 246 official delegates representing 9,043 party members of 50 grassroots party organizations in the entire Party Committee. Attending the Congress were comrade Le Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, and representatives of the Party Building Boards of the Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the preparatory session, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee emphasized that the preparatory session is an important preparation step to contribute to the successful organization of the 27th Nam Dan District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Therefore, delegates are requested to promote a sense of responsibility, focus on discussions, contribute opinions, and unify contents to ensure the goals and requirements set forth by the Congress.

The Congress elected the Presidium of 9 comrades, the Secretariat of 2 comrades and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 7 comrades; voted to approve the Program, Working Regulations and Internal Rules of the Congress.

The Congress Presidium also disseminated some main contents of the Party's Election Regulations, reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Documents submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Party; and reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Political Report submitted to the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

The Congress also discussed and contributed ideas to the draft documents of the 13th National Congress of the Party with the following contents: Suggestions on some proposals on socio-economic development strategies; Suggestions on adjusting, replacing and supplementing some sections in the Draft Political Report and the Summary Report on Party building work; Some experiences drawn after 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Party.

The Congress also discussed the Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 19th Provincial Party Congress; thereby evaluating the carefully and methodically prepared draft, and at the same time contributing some contents related to solutions to implement tasks in the 2020 - 2025 term.

The solution contents show the desire for the province to pay more attention to create highlights and breakthroughs such as: In the field of agricultural production, pay attention to planning concentrated commodity production areas associated with high-tech application, processing and product consumption.

The comments clarify tourism development, focusing on raising tourism awareness for officials, civil servants, people and businesses. Regarding culture and society, strengthening discipline, school order, career orientation; taking care of people's health, creating jobs, sustainable poverty reduction...

Regarding national defense - security, internal affairs, it is recommended to pay attention to the appropriate treatment regime for the police force in hamlets, villages and communes; strengthen propaganda, dissemination and legal education for all classes of people; implement synchronous measures in the work of preventing, controlling and reducing the increase of all types of crimes...

The Congress also discussed the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 27th District Party Congress; thoroughly grasped and agreed on a number of contents on election work.

With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the 27th Congress of Nam Dan District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term will take place in 1.5 days. The Congress will officially open tomorrow morning (August 15).

The Congress will approve the Political Report of the 26th Nam Dan District Party Executive Committee, to be submitted to the 27th Congress of Delegates for the 2020-2025 term; Focus on discussing and contributing ideas to the development orientations and tasks of Nam Dan district in the coming term.

The Congress will elect the 27th Executive Committee of the Nam Dan District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and elect a delegation to attend the 19th Provincial Party Congress./.
