Rewarding 3 units in the project to seize 700 kg of crystal meth in Nghe An

On the afternoon of April 25, Quynh Luu District held an award ceremony for units with outstanding achievements in Project VA - 319MT fighting drug crimes.

In order to promptly encourage the outstanding achievements of the VA - 319MT Task Force, at the ceremony, the leaders of Quynh Luu district awarded 15 million VND to 3 units including: the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the provincial police; Officers and soldiers of Quynh Luu district police and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station. The task force had outstanding achievements, arresting 3 subjects for illegal drug transportation and seizing 700 kg of crystal meth on April 17 at the salt fields, Quynh Thuan commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Quynh Luu district acknowledged, praised and congratulated the outstanding achievements of the VA - 319 MT Task Force for successfully solving the biggest drug case ever.

This incident has shown the close coordination of functional forces in the fight against drug crimes. Because if 700 kg of drugs were not detected and arrested, this transnational drug trafficking and transportation ring would not be dismantled, causing great danger to society.

Faced with the complicated situation of drug crimes, the leaders of Quynh Luu district requested the functional forces, in which the District Police and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station are the key forces, to continue to proactively grasp the situation, deploy synchronous measures to effectively combat drug crime lines and subjects. Thereby limiting the increase in drug addicts, gradually building Quynh Luu into a drug-free area.
