Prosecution of a group of subjects illegally storing and trading drugs in Yen Thanh
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 22, the Investigation Police Department, Yen Thanh District Police, announced that the unit had just initiated a case and prosecuted 4 suspects related to the crimes of illegal drug trafficking and possession.
The four defendants prosecuted all reside in Yen Thanh district, including: Pham Xuan The (born in 1972), residing in My Thanh commune; Pham Xuan Cam (born in 1994), residing in Dai Thanh commune; Dang Quang Quy (born in 1971), residing in Vinh Thanh commune and Phan Dinh Duc (born in 2001), residing in Khanh Thanh commune.

The above 4 subjects were all arrested simultaneously by Yen Thanh District Police on the evening of December 15, 2022 in the special project.drugarrested 3 cases, 4 subjects, seized 2,268 synthetic drug pills, 5.75 grams of heroin that the unit had previously established.
Accordingly, at 8:00 p.m. on December 15, 2022, in My Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district police discovered and arrested two subjects Pham Xuan The and Pham Xuan Cam for illegal possession of drugs, seizing 2,200 synthetic drug pills.
At the same time, in Son Thanh and Khanh Thanh communes (Yen Thanh), the police also arrested two subjects, Dang Quang Quy and Phan Dinh Duc, and seized a total of 5.75 grams of heroin and 68 synthetic drug pills.

It is worth mentioning that all 4 subjects arrested by the police are heavy drug addicts, of which Pham Xuan The has a criminal record related to drug crimes and was just released from prison 4 months ago.
Currently, Yen Thanh District Police are consolidating records and handling the subjects according to the law.
