Regretful atmosphere after the Asiad semi-final at Cong Phuong's house

This afternoon, the atmosphere to watch the semi-final match at Cong Phuong's house was quite exciting, more than 200 fans from inside and outside the province of all ages were present here early to watch and cheer for the Vietnam Olympic team.

Like other matches, this afternoon Cong Phuong’s family prepared medicine, water and many other refreshments to welcome his brothers, friends and fans. Right from the start of the match, the audience filled the entire stadium, even standing on the walls.

The two halves passed in suspense and hope, especially when the Vietnamese team opened the score. Everyone expected a successful breakthrough in the final minutes, but unfortunately the score of 3-1 in favor of the Korean team was maintained until the end of the match.

The semi-final match ended, the exciting atmosphere at Cong Phuong's house had calmed down, many people felt sorry for the Vietnamese Olympic team. Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong (38 years old), from Ha Dong district - Hanoi, who was present at Cong Phuong's house, said: "The Vietnamese team reaching the semi-finals is already "cool", however, everyone wanted the home team to win, but losing to a strong team is nothing to be disappointed about."

Right after the semi-final match, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Cong Phuong's mother shared: "Winning and losing is normal, the Vietnamese team played with all their might, I hope the kids stay healthy and try their best to contribute to the upcoming Bronze medal match."
