Reviewing the leadership work of the Standing Committee of Yen Thanh District Party Committee

In 2022, Yen Thanh district achieved remarkable results, including: The economic structure shifted in the right direction, the annual growth rate was estimated at 10.01%; 26/26 socio-economic development targets achieved and exceeded the plan; average income per capita was estimated at 59 million VND/year, reaching 100% of the plan, an increase of 7 million VND/year; Budget revenue was estimated at 807.89 billion VND, exceeding more than 2 times the set plan, an increase of 38.33% compared to the implementation in 2021.

It is expected that by the end of 2022, 12 communes in Yen Thanh will meet the advanced new rural standards, and 2 communes will meet the model new rural standards. The above results are due to the close leadership of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the implementation of all levels, sectors, organizations, people and businesses in Yen Thanh. At the review, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also frankly pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations: The economic structure has shifted in the right direction but is still slow; The area of ​​​​summer-autumn rice cultivation has not reached the plan. Tax debt is still high, concentrated in mineral exploitation, construction, trade enterprises, transportation business households, and land rent.

The progress of new rural construction has improved in some communes and the disbursement of some newly started projects has been slow. Site clearance for some projects has encountered many difficulties. Land management in some communes has not been strict, and there have been violations of encroachment and illegal construction. In addition, some Party committees have not paid due attention to researching, studying, and implementing action programs and plans to implement the Resolution; the percentage of village chiefs who are Party members is still low, some Party committees have not been able to recruit new Party members, and the implementation of Project 01 - DA/TU has encountered many difficulties...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation of the collective and individuals of the Yen Thanh District Party Standing Committee in the year-end review, at the same time analyzed the causes, shortcomings and suggested some directions for the Yen Thanh District Party Standing Committee to continue to promote advantages, overcome limitations, and continue to lead the successful implementation of the goals set out in the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.
