Strictly control immigration to prevent Covid-19 from returning

In Vietnam, up to now, there have been no new cases of infection in the community for 31 days. The total number of people infected with Covid-19 is 1,096, of which 35 patients have died and 1,020 have recovered. According to the Steering Committee, the epidemic situation in Vietnam has basically been well controlled.
Meanwhile, the epidemic is developing complicatedly in the world, the number of deaths and infected people is constantly increasing. Specifically, as of 9:00 a.m. on October 3, the world has 34,794,459 infected people; 1,032,222 people died, 25,730,365 people recovered.
215 countries and territories have recorded Covid-19 cases. Vietnam ranks 165th among countries and territories with cases in the world; 7/11 countries with cases in Southeast Asia. In the ASEAN region, all countries in the region have cases.
In Nghe An,There have been no recorded cases of Covid-19 so far. However, according to the Department of Health, recently, a large number of citizens entering the country from Laos have been quarantined in Nghe An. The number of experts and highly skilled workers wishing to enter Nghe An to work has increased rapidly as our country opens commercial flights. Therefore, the risk of Covid-19 infection in the province remains high.

After listening to the analysis, evaluation and experience sharing of ministries and localities in the fight against the epidemic, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam once again requested all localities, ministries and sectors not to be subjective and negligent, allowing the epidemic to break out again. At the same time, he requested all levels and sectors, especially the two big cities, to strictly control all sources of entry into Vietnam, especially illegal entry.
In case of new cases, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to detect quickly; trace and isolate thoroughly; localize and contain the epidemic promptly; treat effectively and especially promote the role of the entire population in participating in the fight against the epidemic. In the long term, it is necessary to determine to live safely with the epidemic. The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Health to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to establish and complete the "Covid-19 Prevention Safety Map" for all levels, branches and people to know and implement.
