Proposal to revoke BMC Vinh Plaza project in Quan Bau ward

Carrying out the task of managing and collecting land use fees for urban real estate projects according to Notice No. 225/TB-UBND dated April 20, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee, from the beginning of 2018 to now, real estates in the province have paid 122 billion/144.4 billion in taxes, reaching 84.5%.

Projects that have completed land use fee payment include: Dai Thanh urban area in Trung Do ward, Vinh city; Commercial service area project with housing and office in Le Loi ward, Vinh city; Nam Dan town housing area project in Nam Dan town, Nam Dan district; Giat market complex project in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district; High-quality residential area in Quynh Nghia commune, Quynh Luu district; Complex of commercial center, luxury apartments and commercial street in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city, amounting to 53.4 billion VND.

Projects that have paid part of the land use fee include: Cua Tien new urban area in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city; Residential and commercial service area in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district; BMC Vinh Plaza project in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city, total amount: 68.6 billion VND.

Nghe An Tax Department also recommended that the Provincial People's Committee consider terminating project activities and reclaiming land for projects with long-standing land use debt. Specifically:Son Ha Urban Area Project in Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City, Nghe An, invested by Son Ha Construction Joint Stock Company.

The BMC Vinh Plaza project in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city is invested by BMC Construction Materials and Commercial Construction Company Limited. As of April 30, 2018, this unit owes 41,468,520,141 VND in taxes and late payment fees for the above project. In which: Land use fee: 28,041,923,736 VND; late payment fee: 13,282,537,631 VND; non-agricultural land use tax: 144,058,774 VND.
