Timely overcome the shortcomings on Nhan Son-Dai Son route (Do Luong)
(Baonghean.vn) - The Nhan Son-Dai Son (Do Luong) road was constructed in 2016 with a low load design, so when put into operation, it was peeled off and subsided in some places. Do Luong district is directing to overcome the existing problems to soon put the project into acceptance and use.
Nhan Son - Dai Son route is a vital route of over 14 km long in the communes below Do Luong district. Previously, it was graded, but over time it has seriously degraded, with many potholes making traffic difficult and posing a potential risk of traffic accidents.
In 2012, the road was started with a total investment of more than 64 billion VND, invested by the People's Committee of Do Luong district with the scale of building a level 6 rural road, constructed by Mai Vinh Construction Joint Stock Company.

However, after just over a year of construction, Mai Vinh Construction Joint Stock Company abandoned the project, with the construction volume reaching over 4 billion/64 billion VND, making it very difficult for people to travel. Faced with this situation, in 2015, the People's Committee of Do Luong district proposed to terminate the construction contract with Mai Vinh Joint Stock Company and select a new contractor, Hoang Gia Nghe An Construction Joint Stock Company.
In November 2015, the Nhan Son-Dai Son (Do Luong) traffic project continued to be constructed. Due to difficulties in funding, the project has only just been completed. Recently, on this route (the adjusted route and the additional branch route), there have been some locations where the road surface has peeled off and the sidewalk has sunk.
A representative of the Do Luong District Construction Project Management Board said that the cause of the above situation was because the project was constructed according to the rural traffic design since 2006, while trucks carrying rocks and sand regularly traveled to Nghi Loc and Yen Thanh districts, causing damage to some locations.

In May 2021, the Department of Transport coordinated with the People's Committee of Do Luong district to inspect the construction quality management of a number of projects in Do Luong, including the Nhan Son - Dai Son route, requesting the investor to coordinate with relevant parties to direct the construction unit to repair some damage to the road surface and sidewalks.
After receiving comments from the Department of Transport, the People's Committee of Do Luong district assigned the district project management board and related departments and offices to inspect the project and assign the construction unit to repair it. Currently, the construction unit has completed repairing the slightly damaged road surface and sidewalk (adjusted route section and additional branch route) through Dai Son commune.
According to the plan, the construction unit will continue to re-inspect after the rainy season to thoroughly overcome the shortcomings and promptly accept and hand over the project. After this route is put into use, it will contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Do Luong district.
