Nghe An provincial leaders commemorate heroic martyrs at martyr cemeteries in Dong Nai and Tay Ninh

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 18, the working delegation led by Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province, offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Binh Phuoc Martyrs Cemetery in Dong Nai province, and Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery (Tan Bien) in Tay Ninh province.

The delegation included comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, and comrades of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Quoc Viet - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Trung Loc Commune Party Committee.

At Binh Phuoc Martyrs Cemetery, Dong Tam Commune, Dong Nai Province, the delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, for the prosperity of the nation.

The delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the cemetery - the resting place of more than 5,000 martyrs, including more than 120 martyrs from Nghe An who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US and performing international duties in Cambodia.

Delegates from Nghe An province expressed their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs - those who left behind their twenties with many dreams and aspirations, in exchange for independence, freedom and peace for the nation.

After the incense offering ceremony, delegates lit incense sticks at each grave, expressing their respect and gratitude for the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

On the same day, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs resting at Tan Bien Martyrs Cemetery, Tay Ninh province.

Tan Bien Martyrs Cemetery, now called Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery, was put into use in 1989, one of the three largest cemeteries in the country, is the resting place of more than 15,000 martyrs from all over the country who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war for national liberation and international duty. This is the place where many martyrs' remains gathered in Cambodia from after the war until now are held and buried.

The great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs have been deeply engraved in the golden pages of the nation's history, the sons who were determined to die for the Fatherland. The heroic martyrs devoted their whole lives to the cause of national liberation and the noble international duty.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, before the souls of the heroic martyrs, the delegation of Nghe An province laid wreaths and respectfully offered incense to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and performed noble international duties.

At the martyrs' graves, the delegates lit incense sticks respectfully, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the country's outstanding sons. The delegation vowed to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People, striving to contribute to building a rich and powerful Vietnam.
