Nghe Tinh Vi - Giam folk song festival cluster 2
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 27, in Do Luong, the 2018 Vi-Giam Folk Song Festival, cluster 2, took place.
Attending the festival were comrade Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture & Sports, leaders of Do Luong district and many local people.
The festival at cluster 2 has 13 Vi-Giam folk singing clubs from 5 districts: Do Luong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Con Cuong and Tuong Duong competing.

The performances at this festival have themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the spirit of labor, love of life, and the movement to build a new countryside; the new lyrics are developed on ancient Vi-Giam folk songs.

The festival is an opportunity for clubs, folk artists and people who love Nghe An folk songs to exchange, learn, share experiences and performance skills.

Through the festival, we aim to encourage the folk singing movement and praise and honor those who have contributed to preserving and transmitting the precious heritage of Nghe Tinh Vi-Giam folk songs; contributing to the preservation, conservation and promotion of the intangible heritage of humanity.
