Taking advantage of the network to visit many medical facilities many times

Quy Chau district has 13 medical facilities participating in examination and treatment for health insurance participants; including 1 Medical Center and 12 Commune Health Stations.

The total number of people receiving medical examination and treatment from 2015 to 2018 was 195,255; the total cost of medical examination and treatment was more than 58.2 billion VND, of which more than 9 billion VND was spent at commune health stations.

The cost of medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance in 2015 reached 98.23%; in 2016 reached 98.62%; in 2017 reached 98.66%; in the first quarter of 2018 reached 99.02%.

Quy Chau District Medical Center also suggested that superiors need to have a mechanism to ensure unity and coordination in medical examination and treatment, settlement of medical examination and treatment fees under health insurance, and at the same time further promote propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on health insurance.

The monitoring delegation discussed and requested the Quy Chau district authorities to clarify some issues related to the process of issuing health insurance books, missing or incorrect information on health insurance cards; determining the rate of duplicate cards; checking subjects who receive medical examinations multiple times in a month; supporting medical examination and treatment for policy beneficiaries; solutions to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment...; the district health center needs to promptly rectify arising problems...
