Young man in Vinh city tested positive for drugs, drove past checkpoint when checked by police
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. LNT, residing in Hung Binh ward, drove on the road during the implementation of Directive 16 without identification papers and showed signs of illegal drug use.
At 12:00 noon on August 26, 2021, at the checkpoint at the intersection between Dinh Cong Trang Street and Hong Bang Street, the Economic Security Department's working group discovered a 7-seat, black Honda CRV car with license plate 37A 600.93 driven by LNT (born in 1992), residing in Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City, on the road.

When the task force signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection, the driver did not obey the order and sped past the quarantine checkpoint. The task force quickly controlled and forced the vehicle to stop. At the same time, the Vinh City Police Mobile Patrol Team was notified to coordinate the handling.
During the working process, the working group found that Mr. T. showed signs of illegal drug use, so they conducted a test and the result was positive for drugs.
Initially, the working group drew up a record of the violation and advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue decisions to impose a fine of 7.5 million VND according to Decree 117/2020 of the Government and a fine of 35 million VND according to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP of the Government, with a total fine of 42.5 million VND.
