Improving professional skills for propaganda officers in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 22, in Con Cuong district, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a training conference on propaganda work. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference.
Attending the training were more than 300 delegates who were leaders and experts of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders and experts of the Propaganda Department of district, city, town Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees, the Fatherland Front and provincial-level organizations; deputy directors, full-time lecturers, part-time lecturers of political centers of districts, cities and towns; comrades who are Heads of Propaganda Departments at commune level; Executive Committee of the Nghe An Literature and Arts Association; Heads of grassroots branches; Heads of branches of Central Literature and Arts branches in Nghe An.

The training content includes the following topics: Methods of teaching political theory; Requirements and teaching skills at district-level political centers; Speaking skills, providing information and preventing and handling media crises; Party's Cultural and Artistic work - Basic issues raised and orientation, leadership and direction of cultural and artistic activities in the new situation.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, affirmed: In 2023, the entire Party is evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels in the first half of the term, thereby reviewing and proposing solutions to focus on completing the targets of the Party Congresses at all levels. In addition, the current ideological situation and information environment also pose problems and situations that require the Party's propaganda team to update the situation and knowledge to have correct awareness, sharp theory, and deep professional expertise to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Faced with the new requirements, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong requested that each Propaganda officer clearly define their roles and responsibilities, thereby regularly self-studying to improve their professional skills, contributing to creating unity within the Party and social consensus in effectively carrying out political tasks.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department asked the trainees to promote their sense of responsibility, focus on research, actively discuss and raise difficulties and problems at the grassroots level to discuss and find solutions for better implementation.
