Nghe An Education Department launched and raised donations to support the fight against Covid-19 epidemic

Previously, the Department of Education and Training and the Trade Union of Nghe An Education and Training also issued a document calling on educational units, all teachers and workers to well implement the direction of the Party and State, raise awareness, solidarity and responsibility to the community, strictly comply with regulations of the Government, the health sector and localities in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

The entire industry joins hands to carry out well the two parallel tasks of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic and performing professional tasks, overcoming difficulties, creating the best possible conditions to care for and educate students. In addition, continuing to organize review sessions in forms suitable to each locality to ensure both effective review and safety in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

In particular, calling on educational institutions, teachers and workers in the whole sector to continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance, and to devote part of their savings to supporting the State in building resources and purchasing essential equipment to prevent and fight the epidemic on a voluntary basis.

All donations will be submitted to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to contribute to the State to purchase medical equipment and vaccines to prevent and fight the epidemic.

At the same time, take care of the staff, teachers and workers in the industry affected by the epidemic and support the staff, teachers and workers in the Education and Training sector of the provinces that are heavily affected by the epidemic.

In 2020, the Education sector also had many activities to raise funds to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition to the donation of 1.2 billion VND, the sector also donated many essential facilities to serve localities in preventing and fighting the epidemic.
