Nghe An issues plan to organize tourism activities in Cua Lo in 2023

On November 14, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a plan to organize activitiestourismCua Lo in 2023. Accordingly, the organization of tourism activitiesCua Loto mobilize all resources, focus the entire political system to promote the development of Nghe An tourism in general, Cua Lo tourism in particular; attract tourists to Cua Lo beach; raise people's awareness of behavioral culture, civilized tourism environment; promote the image of Cua Lo tourism in particular and Nghe An in general as a safe, friendly, hospitable destination; create opportunities to attract investment, exploit natural and social potential to develop tourism, contributing to promoting the economic, cultural and social development of Nghe An in general.

The plan sets out the goal of promoting the recovery and development of Cua Lo tourism in 2023 and the following years. Specifically, it strives to welcome and serve over 3.4 million visitors to Cua Lo, of which 1.3 million will stay overnight, with tourism revenue reaching VND2,000 billion.

There will be many cultural, sports, tourism and commercial activities and events held throughout the 2023 tourism year, including: Press conference and launching of the Nghe An Tourism Journalism Award, including Cua Lo tourism and the Photography Contest associated with the theme of the tourism year; organizing the opening ceremony of the 2023 Tourism Festival and a low-altitude fireworks display; organizing sports competitions at the town, provincial and national levels throughout the 2023 tourism year.

In addition, Nghe An will also organize activities during the peak tourist months at the provincial level such as: Street Carnival Festival on weekend nights, Fishing Festival, hot air balloons... Organize festival activities at ward and town levels; build check-in points, entertainment areas, walking streets, night food streets... to attract tourists; organize activities to link Cua Lo tourism with historical, cultural and spiritual relic sites and craft villages with OCOP products; typical industrial and agricultural products in Nghe An province.

The Provincial People's Committee has also clearly assigned responsibilities to relevant departments, branches and sectors in organizing tourism activities in Cua Lo in 2023. The Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Cua Lo town to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, units and localities to effectively implement the Plan to organize tourism activities in Cua Lo in 2023.

The People's Committee of Cua Lo town needs to do a good job of urban planning and beautification, research and develop typical routes serving tourism such as food streets and night markets; do a good job of warning, rescue and relief work on the town's beaches to ensure absolute safety for tourists; direct businesses and tourism establishments in the area to prepare well for serving tourists./.
