Nghe An issues decision to adjust school year plan 2019 - 2020

On April 27, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to amend and supplement Decision No. 2788/QD-UBND on adjusting the 2019-2020 school year plan for all levels of education in the province.

Previously, from the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year, students' studies in the province were interrupted due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. To reorganize teaching and learning, the Provincial People's Committee decided to extend the school year to July 2020, complete the second semester education program before July 11, 2020 and end the school year before July 15, 2020.

In addition, according to the plan, enrollment for the first grade classes will be completed before August 25, 2020. Particularly for GDTX before August 31, 2020.

Along with the teaching plan, the exam schedule has also been adjusted. Accordingly, the general vocational exam for grade 11 students will be in May and June 2020.

The provincial excellent student exam in cultural subjects at junior high school, high school, and high school level will be held in May and June 2020.

The entrance exam for grade 10 and the entrance exam for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted will be held in July 2020.

Before adjusting the school year plan, the Department of Education and Training also announced a reduction program according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. Accordingly, in the second semester, all levels of education have been reduced by 5-7 weeks according to the previously issued plan. This also helps schools to organize teaching and learning more conveniently./.
