Nghe An: Only one household has not received compensation for land clearance for the North-South expressway
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to this point, sectors and localities have completed 87.79/87.84km of land clearance for the North-South expressway through Nghe An, reaching 99.94%.
Road projectNorth-South ExpresswayThe section through Nghe An province is about 87.84km long, including 2 sub-projects: Nghi Son - Dien Chau sub-project and Dien Chau - Bai Vot sub-project, passing through Hoang Mai town and 5 districts: Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen. Of which, 79.31km passes through agricultural land; 8.53km passes through residential areas, requiring resettlement for about 606 households.
Given the importance of the project, over the past time, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have directed departments, branches, sectors and localities to mobilize the entire political system to resolutely participate, focusing on prioritizing the implementation of compensation, support and resettlement. Up to now, in the entire route with the expressway passing through, about 87.79/87.84km have been cleared, reaching 99.94%. Of which, the Nghi Son - Dien Chau section has been basically completed with 43.47, reaching 100%.

In particular, the Dien Chau - Bai Vot section has been cleared 44.07/44.37km, reaching more than 99%. There is only one household in Hung Nguyen district that has not been cleared due to disagreement on the compensation level for the house. The District People's Committee has approved the compensation plan for these locations. Currently, the People's Committee is continuing to propagate and mobilize people to agree on the plan, receive money, receive resettlement land to build houses and hand over the site. In case any household does not agree, when the contractor carries out the construction, the locality will organize compulsory land recovery or construction protection according to regulations, not affecting the progress of the project.

However, up to this point, there is still 50m of residential land belonging to Mr. Phan Ngoc Dung's household (Hung Nghia commune), although the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district has approved the plan and the household has received the land.Resettlementbut have not received the money and assets. Currently, the district is continuing to mobilize and propagate for people to receive the money, striving to complete before March 29, 2022.

Besides the site clearance work, currently, many localities with expressway projects passing through have also made recommendations that the Ministry of Transport needs to direct Project Management Board 6 and Investors.speed up construction progressThe sections that have been cleared and cleared will avoid re-encroachment that will affect the project construction process.
In addition, investors during the project construction process must ensure traffic safety, environmental sanitation, restore public road systems (National Highways, Provincial Roads, District Roads...) and promptly construct restored irrigation works to serve the people's agricultural production.
