Nghe An mobilizes a large force of medical staff to participate in the fight against the epidemic in Hoang Mai

Based on the actual situation of the patient's movement and contact in the town, Nghe An Health Department has traced and identified 89 F1 cases and more than 700 F2 cases.

The Department of Health directed the Provincial Center for Disease Control to send a rapid response team led by a leader of the Center as permanent head to advise and support the Steering Committee.Hoang Mai townin implementing measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the town; develop a plan to organize tracing, sample collection and SARS-CoV-2 testing for all F1 and F2 cases in the town; the Provincial Center for Disease Control is the focal point for synthesizing the need for supplies, chemicals and protective equipment for quarantine facilities and Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province.

Organize or advise on the timely allocation of resources to units to ensure Covid-19 Prevention and Control work in the area.

The Department of Health requested the Quynh Luu District Medical Center to send 10 staff to support the Hoang Mai Town Medical Center in carrying out epidemiological investigation, sample collection, and spraying disinfectants;

Quang Khoi, Quang Thanh, and Minh An General Hospitals each sent 5 staff to support Hoang Mai town in carrying out epidemiological investigations and collecting samples for Covid-19 testing;

Assign Quynh Luu District General Hospital to arrange vehicles and equipment to receive Covid-19 patients in Hoang Mai town for medical isolation and Covid-19 treatment in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health;

Develop a plan to collect and transport SARS-CoV-2 test samples for patients; medical staff, and forces participating in management work at treatment facilities; complete and consolidate necessary conditions to ensure readiness to receive at least 20 Covid-19 patients according to the assignment plan in Plan 160/KHUBND dated March 29, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee; develop a plan to expand the Covid-19 isolation treatment area, ready to receive more Covid-19 patients (if any).

Nghe An General Hospital is assigned to review and strengthen conditions to ensure Covid-19 treatment according to regulations; arrange a mobile emergency team (including medical staff, medicine, supplies, equipment and ambulances) ready to receive and treat Covid-19 patients whose symptoms exceed the treatment capacity of lower-level facilities; arrange a team of medical staff to participate in supporting Quynh Luu District General Hospital in the process of receiving and treating Covid-19 patients.

Regarding large-scale testing, the Department of Health requested the Oncology Hospital; Cua Dong, Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Quang Khoi Hospital; and Nghe An General Hospital to prepare necessary conditions and be ready to conduct SARS-CoV-2 testing upon direction from the Department of Health./.
