Mr. Ngo Duc Quynh - Deputy Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine said: At the beginning of 2022, Nghe An had 7 outbreaks in 7 districts. However, with the participation of authorities at all levels and specialized agencies, as of September 21, there were only 2 outbreaks in the province in 2 districts of Tan Ky and Quy Hop.

According to Mr. Quynh, African swine fever has been persistent in some localities and is difficult to end because some livestock farmers are not highly aware of disease prevention and control, while these localities have previously had outbreaks of African swine fever so it is easy to relapse.
