Nghe An participates in the International Tourism Fair "Thailand Travel Mart"

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Tourism Marketing Strategy until 2020 and responding to the 2016 National Tourism Promotion Program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Nghe An participated in the Thailand Travel Mart International Tourism Fair in Chiang Mai (Thailand).

Participating in the Fair program were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Representative of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nghe An Tourism Promotion Information Center.

At this Fair, Nghe An participated in a joint booth with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. Through the introduction of promotional publications at the booth and participation in forums and press conferences, Nghe An introduced and promoted Nghe An tourism destination to a large number of international tourists, especially tourists in Thailand.

Promoting tourism in Chiang Mai contributes to creating tourism links between Chiang Mai and the North Central region in general and Nghe An in particular by direct flights from Vinh to Bangkok.

The fair is held from June 7 to June 12. This is also an opportunity to learn from experience in building new tour products to Chiang Mai and vice versa. Strengthening tourism development links between localities in the North Central region with provinces of Laos and Thailand. Introducing world heritages, major tourist destinations of the North Central provinces such as: Ho Dynasty Citadel (Thanh Hoa), Uncle Ho's hometown, Cua Lo beach (Nghe An), Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs, Thien Cam beach (Ha Tinh), Son Doong Cave (Quang Binh) ....
