Nghe An: Highlights on March 24

Budget revenue in the first quarter is estimated at 4,122 billion VND, equal to 29.4% of the estimate. As of March 17, 2021, the province has newly granted 16 projects and adjusted 27 projects; the total newly granted and increased investment capital is 7,015.53 billion VND. In the first quarter, 398 newly established enterprises were established, an increase of 4.57% over the same period.

*NMarch 24, Vinh University announcedAdmission plan for grade 10to Vinh University High School for the Gifted. *SMarch 24, in Vinh City (Nghe An), High People's Court in Hanoicriminal appeal trialagainst defendant Tran Duc Thach for the crime of “Activities aimed at overthrowing the people’s government”. At the appeal hearing, the defendant did not present any new special mitigating circumstances. The appellate panel decided not to accept the defendant’s appeal; upholding the original criminal sentence against defendant Tran Duc Thach.

*NOn March 24, the Border Guard of Nghe An province said that the unit had justhandover of case files, the exhibits and 2 subjects who illegally brought Chinese people into the country were handed over to the Investigation Security Department (PC09, Nghe An Provincial Police) to prosecute the accused and continue to expand the investigation according to authority.
